Website forms
What happens when you submit.
The contact, donation-enquiry, and story-comment forms collect the details shown on each form, together with your consent. They are sent through FormSubmit to info@uwrf.ug, with a copy to admin@uwrf.ug, so the federation can review and respond.
Story comments are private submissions for federation moderation. They are not placed automatically on the public website. The update-request form sends an email request to receive federation updates; it does not automatically create an account or manage a mailing list.
External form processing
FormSubmit is a third-party service. Submission opens its processing page and may include a spam-verification challenge. Its documentation states that submissions are retained in its archive for 30 days. Review FormSubmit privacy information and its documentation before submitting. Avoid sending medical records, financial credentials, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
Federation email records
The federation receives submissions in its email inboxes. Contact UWRF to ask about current access and retention arrangements, corrections, or deletion of your information. The static website does not write submission records to cPanel files.
Appearance preferences
The accessibility panel stores your system, light, or dark appearance choice and other display preferences in local storage on your device. These preferences are not sent to UWRF. Resetting the panel removes them.
Advertising and consent
No Google advertising or analytics script is currently loaded. If UWRF activates advertising, this notice must be updated before launch and an appropriate Google-certified consent platform must be configured for visitors where required. Advertising should not be activated merely by pasting an unreviewed script into the site.
External links
Social sharing and further-reading links open external services. Those services apply their own privacy practices. The website does not load embedded social feeds or video players automatically.
